Proving that crazy walls aren't a modern invention, here on TikTok we see Tyler Gunther (@greedypeasant) and his medieval version:
This is our costume fitting board for the upcoming pageant. It is also a conspiracy theory. Like what is he thinking?

Ladhood, S02E05:
Proving he's learned nothing over the decades, Liam turns what should be a short and simple film into a complicated plan for an epic drama. And we all know there's only one way to visualise such a plan…

If you ever need a break from staring at movies and TV shows full of crazy walls, why not play a crazy wall board game?
To quote Board Game Geek:
In the two-player game Watergate, one player represents the Nixon administration and tries not to resign before the end of the game while the other player represents The Washington Post and tries to show the connections between Nixon and some of his informers.

A screen grab from Peter Rosenthal's incisive review of the animated Disney movie Coco which he describes as "mind boggling", but sadly for all the wrong reasons.

There have been many LEGO police stations over the years. 381-2 (the only one I've owned), 7498, 10902 (for younger police), 60047, 60141, and 60246.
But it's only the LEGO Creator Police Station 10278, due out on 1 January 2021, that features its own little crazy wall. Nicely done. I guess it's appropriate that out of all these sets its the most American-looking police station of the lot that features this staple of movies and TV shows.

Here's a blackboard in the midst of a crazy wall. We don't see enough blackboards in Crazy Walls, so that's nice.

Perry Mason, S01E08
In this "re-boot" of Perry Mason we get a few dim glimpses of Perry's expanding string-and-cuttings crazy wall as he attempts to piece together a crime.
The attention given to period 1930s detail leads me to wonder whether crazy walls existed in movies that long ago. Would Perry have actually thought of making a wall like this? Would the idea be inspired by movies, or by seeing other people use it in "real life"? Did these things exist before movies and TV? Did reality copy films, or vice versa? Who first connected photos and newspaper cuttings with bits of string? So many questions…
(Thanks to Simon Wistow for getting the images.)

Micol D'Andrea - Professional branding come asset - Rinascita Digitale DAY 23
Bear with me. I do not speak Italian but, judging by skimming some of YouTube's auto-generated English subtitles, in this presentation Micol D'Andrea is suggesting using crazy walls (or "crisis walls", thanks YouTube) as part of a process to generating your professional brand.
If nothing else it's a good cover if someone discovers your room covered in maps, string, newspaper cuttings, etc. "Oh, that, it's just part of my personal branding process, I'm not crazy, ha ha ha ha!"

Crazy Wall backgrounds for Zoom and video calls and stuff
You can't get to the shops for your usual supplies of red string, newspapers, maps, etc, so your own crazy-wall-making is suffering. So here are some reasonably high-res crazy walls to use as backgrounds for your important business Zoom calls.
It's hard/impossible to download original images from Tumblr so they're all on Imgur. You should be able to "Download image" for each one, from Killing Eve, The Bridge, Count Arthur Strong, and Isle of Dogs.

Want your own crazy wall?
For those of you not crazy enough to spontaneously generate a crazy wall, but still wanting to feel part of a conspiracy, you can now get a head start with this handy starter kit being sold on Etsy. Everything you need to start worrying friends and family in your own home.
Josh, who's put this together, says that, despite what Etsy says, these conspiracy care packages can ship globally.
